ITANAGAR, Jul 12:An awareness campaign on agro-based industry was recently organized at Anchal Samity Hall, Roing by the Department of Agriculture, wherein MLA, Mutchu along with HoDs participated. 

Speaking on the occasion, ADO, RD Singh said that the farmers of the area have made tremendous progress in the field of agriculture sector.However, he expressed concern that despite bumper production of crops, the living standard of the farmer is not up to the mark due to less price they get for their produce.

He pointed out that farmers can only avail the benefits and better price for their products only if an industry is set up in the district.

ADC, Chesta Yadav asked the farmers to take collective efforts and submit proposal of any kind of grievances relating to establishment of Industry in district and assured full support for her side.

Meanwhile Local MLA, Mutchu Mithi has expressed satisfaction seeing mass participation of PRIs and progressive farmers and exhorted the interested farmers to approach him whenever they need support and assistance regarding setting up of Agro based industry in the district.
