NAHARLAGUN, Nov 30: An awareness camp on Legal Adoption was organised by the Office of the Deputy Director cum District Child Protection Officer, Papum Pare today at the premises of Specialized Adoption Agency [SAA] , Oju Welfare Association, Naharlagun as a part of celebration on the concluding day of International Month of Adoption. Altogether, more than 70 participants comprising of Prospective Adopted Parents[PAPs], NGOs, Interns from University, Field staff from ICDS Projects took part in the camp. The Dy. Director cum DCPO, Papum Pare, Aryoma Lowangcha spoke on the objective and the importance of the camp while Ratan Anya, Chairperson, OWA gave a detail presentation and discussion on the different aspects of adoptions.  Later on,  an interaction session for open discussion was also held wherein the PAPs and others cleared their doubts.
