ITANAGAR, Dec 2: After a gap of about eight months due to Covid pandemic, Administrative Training Institute (ATI) Naharlagun resumed its training activities today with a 3-day Training Programme on ‘Electronic Record Management (ERM)’ for the ministerial staff of the State Secretariat, all works Departments and Directorate offices.
The training will be imparted in 2 batches with 100% course fee sponsorship from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), GoI. Director ATI, Pate Marik informed that this is the first regular training programme of the ATI after suspension of training activities from April to November due to COVID-19. Underlying the importance of ERM, he stated that the purpose of the training is to bring greater transparency and accountability in planning, scheduling, legal aid, audit and a host of other aspects of administrative functioning. While advising the participants to maintain all COVID SOPs, the ATI Director informed the institute has obtained permission from the State Health Department to conduct regular training programmes during 2020-21.
