WAKRO, Mar 13: Educator Amitava Dutta of South Point School, Kolkata and Tapan Kumar Das, Editor, Echo of Arunachal handed over a cheque of Rupees twenty three thousand three hundred ninety five to Sotamlo Minin in presence of Ms Mamoni Sarkar Das, Sanya Pandey, Founder of entertainment news portal Cineoshin and journalist Santu Das. 
The financial assistance is initiative of Indian Army to support higher education of girl child Amilu Minin, proposed and approved by Gen Sanjeev Chauhan, YSM.
Teacher Amitava and leaders of Arunachal Print Media houses lauded Gen Sanjeev for the loving care for children in need of care. The Anu Shiksha Seva Trust thanked Gen Sanjeev and Col Murali for the care and concern.
Mamoni and Sanya also made personal financial contribution to support the girl child and appreciated mother Sotamlo for raising children without any stable source of income.
Tapan and the visiting dignitaries also briefly interacted with students in the Beena Ghose Roy Enclave. The Chairman, Anu Shiksha Seva Trust conveyed heartfelt gratitude to Tapan for supporting educational and social welfare initiatives in Wakro for three decades and also conveyed gratitude to Ranjit Sinha, Jarpum Gamlin, Ms Kenter Joya Riba, The Echo of Arunachal, Eastern Sentinel, The Arunachal Times, Dawnlit Post, Arunachal Front and the Arunachal Observer for the encouraging and unconditional support.
