BANDERDEWA, May 31: In yet another loss of face for the men in uniform, two IRBn jawans were apprehended by Assam Police at Banderdewa with suspected heroin.
Assam Police had confirmed that the two IRBn jawans from Arunachal Pradesh have been identified as G Nadung and Joram Suraj. Acting on a tip-off, the duo were arrested and 2 packets of suspected heroin, 9 small tubes, two mobile phones, cash amounting to Rs 6100 and a four-wheeler were seized.
Commenting on the incident, SP Capital-Itanagar Capital Region (ICR) said the apprehended jawans should get the punishment they deserve.
