KAKOI, Mar 18: In another violation of the Supreme Court's order to maintain status quo regarding the boundary issue  between Arunachal Pradesh and Assam,  Forest officials of Assam allegedly  demolished  structure  at Nyokum  Ground in Lower Kakoi under Kimin circle of Papumpare District on Tuesday.
All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU) which  took stock of the situation at the ground has urged the state government to take immediate action on such repeated interference by Assam officials inside Arunachal territory.
“Representative of  the state government should immediately speak with its Assam counterpart before any untoward incident occurs related to boundary issue," the union cautioned.
Government should take immediate action against that officer involved in such kind of illegal eviction, or the union would be compelled to take some stern action, stated ANSU. This land belongs to the indigenous people of Arunachal since time immemorial and the actual boundary is Rajgharali which is far away from the Nyokum  Ground of Lower Kakoi area, stated a villager. He further added, during the illegal eviction none of the villagers were in their homes but were in their agricultural fields.
