ITANAGAR, Apr 5: Arunachal Wushu team bagged seven medals-- 2 Silver & 5 Bronze at the 21st Sub-Junior National Wushu Championship (Boys & Girls) held in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu from March 25-30 last.
Miss Nomi Tamut won Silver medal in 52kg, Miss Mingni Tangha won Silver medal in Nanquan event, Miss Rema Tayem won Bronze medal in Nandao event, Miss Takam Chumchi won Bronze in Taijiquan event, Mr Namlo Rangmo won Bronze medal in 45kg, Mr Yumring Kongkang won Bronze in 42kg and Mr Karngom Kamcham won Bronze in 48kg.
The Arunachal Wushu team was led by Techi Juna as Team Coach, Bamang Ampa as the Team manager and Tai Kaya as the Competition Judge.
The medal winners and officials were warmly received by the All Arunachal Pradesh Wushu Association.
