ITANAGAR, Jun 18: Two Arunachalee weightlifters will be representing the country at the Asian Weightlifting Championship to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from July 15-25 next.
The Indian Weightlifting Federation (IWLF) has selected Golom Tinku (61Kg) and Kampu Degio (67 Kg) to represent India at the championship.
Golom Tinku won Bronze medal in the last Youth National Weightlifting Championship held at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, while Kampu Degio has represented India in the recently concluded IWF Youth World Weightlifting Championships in Leon, Mexico.
