ITANAGAR, Aug 10: Arunachal Pradesh continued to register more Covid recoveries than fresh cases on Tuesday. However with the addition of two deaths, the death toll has reached 248.
Of the 233 new Covid cases reported, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest with 73, followed by Lower Subansiri (29), Papum Pare (24) and Changlang (23). The positivity rate has declined to 8.1% in the Itanagar Capital Complex. Itanagar capital complex also saw the highest 108 recoveries of the total 301 recoveries on the day.
The deaths reported were that of a 57-year-old man from Lohit who passed away at a Dibrugarh hospital due to Covid pneumonia. The second fatality was that of a 50-year-old woman from Anjaw who died at the DCHC Tezu due to Covid pneumonia. Both were not vaccinated.
