ITANAGAR, Jul 4: Arunachal on Sunday reported one more covid death and 168 new cases. Of the total new cases, the highest was reported in the Itanagar Capital Complex at 59 followed by Tawang at 28, and 17 in Papumpare. Itanagar Capital Complex currently has a positivity rate of 6 per cent.
On the same day, 263 recoveries were reported in the state. The highest  54 was in the Itanagar Capital Complex,  followed by Lower Subansiri at 22, and  Namsai and West Kameng reporting 21 recoveries each.
The lone fatality was that of a 78-year-old woman, a resident of ICC, who passed away at the DCH Chimpu due to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) with covid pneumonia.
DCH Chimpu occupancy on Sunday stood at 55 of 126 beds.
