ITANAGAR, Jun 13: The state on Sunday saw covid recoveries outnumber new infections significantly with two deaths. While 134 new covid cases were reported, 434 people recovered from the virus. Of the new infections, capital complex saw the maximum at 35, followed by West Kameng at 19 and Anjaw at 18. While the maximum recoveries were reported from Changlang at 100, Itanagar Capital Complex 84 and 52 in Tawang. Two fatalities were also reported on the day with both patients passing away at the Dedicated Covid Hospital, Chimpu in the state capital. A 38-year-old male from Lohit died due to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and covid pneumonia while a 60-year-old male from the Itanagar Capital Complex died of the same cause. Both of them weren't vaccinated.
