ITANAGAR, Aug 4: Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday recorded 2 more deaths due to Covid, 319 new cases and 332 recoveries.
Casualties
The two patients who succumbed to Covid were a 55-yr old male from West Kameng and a 54-yr old male from Lower Subansiri. Both of them expired on Tuesday evening and were fully inoculated.  The state’s Covid casualty count now stands at 236 with these two deaths.  
Recoveries, New Cases
Of the 319 new cases (asymptomatic 180; symptomatic 139) recorded on the day, ICC remained the most-affected district with 99 cases (positivity rate 11%. However, 131 also recovered in the ICC of the state’s total recovery count of 332.  The total number of active Covid cases as of August 4 (8 pm ) was 3337 and recoveries 45630.
Vaccination
In the '18 years and above' age category, 2454 beneficiaries took their 1st jabs (64 % coverage so far) and 1453 their 2nd  jabs (17% coverage).   
Occupancy status
Till August 4 (8 pm), there were 54 at DCH Chimpu, 18 at SQF Lekhi, Nil at DCHC Midpu, 3 at DCH Pasighat and 13 at DCHC.  
Containment Zones
The number of such zones has fallen to 35 spread over 13 districts and the total number of positive cases in these containment zones is 646.
