Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
ITANAGAR, Mar 31: A 15-member team from Arunachal led by Nyayir Riba participated in the two days ‘Border Area Programme’ being organized by the North East Zone Cultural Centre NEZCC Dimapur, Nagaland, in collaboration with Culture Department, Govt of Sikkim held at Sherathang and Kupup near the Indo China Border from March 27 to 28.
During the program team Arunachal presented Galo folk dances, culture & tradition. Among others, artists from Nagaland, Rajasthan, Haryana and host Sikkim also presented their folk songs and dances.
The program was attended by Adviser, Culture Department Govt of Sikkim, Bhim Kumari Sharma along with Army officers of different cadre and Army Jawans.
