He also reiterated the need for more concerted efforts by the Central government and Ministry of Defence in realising the urgent requirement of road network in the state’s border areas and remote districts. The CDS assured that all necessary support in this regard will be extended to Arunachal Pradesh. The Governor also shared his observation about the state’s lone Sainik School in Niglok and sought help from the Sainik School Society.
Referring to the Prime Minister’s vision of opening 100 new Sainik Schools across the country, the CDS opined that Arunachal must bid for the upcoming ones and make infrastructural plans beforehand. These schools should be located in border districts and must be developed on the day schooling pattern with high standards of education and adequate infrastructure for physical and sports training, the CDS added.
