AALO, Feb 26: Altogether 75 cyclists from the 5 Infantry Brigade under the aeigis of 56 Infantry Division of Indian Army conducted 75 km Cycle Race with the theme 'Khelo India' as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on Wednesday.
The event was flagged off by Veer Mata, mother of Kriti Chakra, late Tape
Yajo amid cheer and applause.
A basket ball match between 4 Jakli and local youths of the district was also held.
The main aim of the event was to strengthen army-civil camaraderie and army's ever willing quest
to guard the nation, come up for civilian causes and to promote sports activities among the local youths.
