ITANAGAR, May 31: Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society met the family members of those who lost their loved ones in the May 21 massacre in Tirap district.
The team met the family members of late Tirong Aboh and the family members of those others who lost their lives.
Consoling the grieving family members, the APWWS team said that the entire state was in mourning because of the brutal murder of 11 people including the sitting MLA.
Sharing their pain with the visiting team, the family members also lamented that earning members of the families were all killed thereby presenting an uncertain future for them.
The team that included Dipti Tadar Bengia, Kani Nada Malling, Hage Onyo also visited Hunkan village, an hour’s drive from Khonsa to meet the family members of one of the drivers who was killed.
The team assured to take up with the government all the points that were raised by the aggrieved families. Newsdesk
