Itanagar, May 6: The Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar Talo Potom attended the first day  of the adult education class for the women vendors organised by the Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society at GIIT, PK commercial house Itanagar today. 
The DC in his speech while motivating the women vendors,  urged them to avail the opportunity and  to get themselves enrolled for the adult education class organised by the APWWS. 
He lauded the APWWS for taking up this noble initiative to educate the women vendors and assured to extend all support in this initiative to empower them through education.
Kani Nada Malling, President APWWS informed that the classes would be conducted on all Saturdays except 2nd Saturday of every month. She also informed that the classes would be conducted simultaneously at  Itanagar and Naharlagun at APWWS Office Mahila Imdad Bhawan.
Altogether 32 women vendors attended the class today.
