ITANAGAR, Mar 19: Elaborate arrangements have been made by the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board for the  LDC/JSA/Store Keeper/ Stock man etc. examination to be held on March 21.
The examination is being held across 11 districts and 61 exam centres wherein 25,731 candidates had applied out of which more than 12,000 candidates have downloaded their admit card till now. 14 Observers, 18 Coordinators, 11 District Superintendent (Deputy Commissioner), 11 Nodal Officers, 68 Centre Superintendent and 2426 Invigilators have been designated by the Board, in addition to Executive Magistrates and Flying Squads to ensure that exam is conducted in a manner which is fair, transparent and based on merit.
Further, adequate security arrangements have been done at all exam centres including deployment of male and female Police Personnel for frisking of candidates. Apart from that, adequate measures will be in place on the day of examination to thwart any attempt of impersonation, malpractices, cheating etc. Use of any electronic gadgets including mobile phones by the candidates as well as exam functionaries is strictly prohibited during the examination, informed Secretary APSSB, Santosh Kr. Rai,IAS in a release this evening.
Candidates are also informed that their bio-metric data shall be captured on the day of examination and hence, they are instructed to come well in advance and do not rush-up at the last moment as no person shall be allowed to enter the examination hall without their bio-metric data being captured at the entrance gate. Further, no candidate shall be allowed to enter the examination hall premises after 09:30 AM, the release stated.
The Board  also warned that if any candidate is found involved in any acts of impersonation or malpractices then they will not be allowed to write the exam and FIR shall be lodged against them.
Such candidates shall be immediately handed-over to the Police and shall also be debarred from appearing in all future examinations conducted by Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board, the release further added.
