ITANAGAR, Apr 7: Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (APSLSA) in collaboration with Hiri Moro Women’s Welfare Society and Mopin Festival Celebration Committee organized a two-day Legal Awareness camp on the occasion of Mopin festival on April 5-6 at the Galo Heritage Centre in Yupia.
The APSLSA team and the Society’s members provided free legal counselling and information regarding availability of free legal services, various government schemes and the related benefits available for the state’s people. Legal awareness brochures on Arunachal Pradesh Victim Compensation Scheme, Para Legal Volunteers scheme, legal aid clinic, Lok Adalat, women’s protection rights from domestic violence, child rights, marriage registration, Motor Vehicles Act, Schedule Tribe and Forest Dwellers Act and various Central government schemes were distributed to the visitors. Around 200 people were benefited from the camp. APSLSA PR
