Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
ITANAGAR, Mar 26: Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) participated in the seminar titled ‘Safety and Employment of Women through National Commission for Women and State Commissions for Women’ conducted at Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital on March 23.
APSCW was represented by its Chairperson Radhilu Chai Techi and Member Techi Hunmai. Organized by Union Ministry of Women and Child Development, the day-long national-level seminar discussed topics relating to strengthening of the grievance redressal mechanism such as public complaints, cases of heinous crimes including acid attacks, collaboration of NCW/SCWs with government, schemes for promoting financial literacy and empowerment of women, reaching out to masses for gender sensitization and collective role of women.
Representatives of all State Women Commissions participated in the seminar.
