Roing, Sep 22: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights team, headed by Chairperson Gumri Ringu, visited the Lower Dibang Valley district today. The members visited and inspected Anganwadi Centers of Ezengo and Zero Camp, CHILDLINE, Roing office, the Police Station, De-Addiction Center at Kangkong and Nani Maria Children’s Home at Roing.
An interactive meeting was held with Deputy Commissioner K. N. Damo, SP J. K. Lego, DMO Dr. R. Tatan among others.
The members of the Child Rights Commission enlightened the gathering about the power and functions of different organisations. They also assured all possible support and motivation for Child Rights in the district. During the interactive session, many grievances were put forward.
DC K. N. Damo assured to allot a room for CWC at the new Mini Secretariat and assured all possible help and support. DIPRO
