TAWANG, Sep 9: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR) is on a two day visit to Tawang to monitor and interact with all stakeholders and to create awareness on powers and functions of state child rights commission.
Chairperson APSCPCR, Gumri Ringu with members—Ngurang Achung and Niri Chongrowju who reached Tawang this evening was received by the Deputy Commissioner Sang Phuntsok among others.
The APSCPCR team visited and interacted with staffers of childcare institution Jang, Changprong, One stop centre Tawang and also attended the Mini tribal food mela at Damgyin organised to mark Rashtriya Poshan Maah.
The team is scheduled to visit the childcare institution at Lungla on Friday, and hold a meeting with all concerned later in the afternoon at Zomkhang hall, informed CDPO Tawang Dondup Pema.
