MIAO, Mar 26: An Arunachal Pradesh Police (APP) personnel lost his life while on duty at Vijaynagar this morning.The incident occurred when Chief Minister Pema Khandu was at Vijaynagar.
As per sources, the person has been identified as Constable Sagar Damai of the Two-Hut village, Vijaynagar who was assigned for security duty during the Chief Minister's visit. The cause of the death is still unknown and the body has been kept at a mortuary in Miao and post-mortem will be done tomorrow, the source added.
The Chief Minister is on a four-day tour to Changlang district and was on inspection of Miao- Vijaynagar road. Damai was part of the security duty of the CM.
