Itanagar, Dec 7 The Arunachal Pradesh Police (APP) on Tuesday launched its CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems) Cloud Data Centre, Citizen Services Portal and User Manual at the Police Headquarters here.
State Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar inaugurated the services in the presence of in-charge DGP Ravindra Singh Yadav. Speaking on the occasion, Kumar lauded the state police for launching the citizen-centric portal and said that this service will help police to communicate with the people of the state in a much better way.
The Citizen Services portal will enable the people to file complaints online without physically being present in the police stations. 
This will be an online solution for seeking permission for any public events, processions or strikes request, character certificate and verification of employees, tenant and domestic help verification and also downloading FIRs.
There are 106 police stations across Arunachal Pradesh and of these 61 are connected with these services. 
It was informed that the rest of the police stations will be connected in the next 5 to 6 months. (PTI)
