ITANAGAR, Apr 8: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) has demanded for posting of regular Directors in reputed institutions of North East Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) and National Institute of Technology (NIT) and has appealed the state government to address the matter within 15 daystime.

Stating that non posting of regular Directors at these institutes is hampering the smooth functioning of administration including hampering academic activities, the union has urged the state government to intervene considering the overall development and welfare of the student community.‘NERIST a deemed university which accommodates students from the entire North Eastern states and  NIT having students from across the country should create conducive environment for academicexcellence,’ said  President, Hawa Bagang.
