LICHLITH, Nov 14: Deputy Commissioner Lower Subansiri, Somcha Lowang dedicated a modern learning centre to the  Govt Residential School school Lichlith under Yazali circle today. 
 The advanced learning center  is  a crowdfunding initiative of APCS officers of 2016 batch under the aegis of "project 37 ". This will be the 7th project under this initiative.
For the remote Lichlith middle school the three sets of computers along with printers, books for the library and microscope with slides;  provided under this initiative will open the  doors to a world of advance learning for the children of this village. Besides this, 30 sets of desk and benches have also been provided to the school.
Dedicating the center to the school on the occasion of the Children's Day,  DC  Lowang said that the gesture of the APCS officers is worth emulating. 
"As officers we also have the responsibility of bringing about positive changes around us, besides our official duties. 2016 batch of APCS officers have set the momentum for such changes. I am sure other batches as well as our officers will follow in their steps," she added. The DC donated Rs.50,000.00 to the 2016 batch for the next project. The project has been executed by CO Tashi Wangchuk Thongdok on behalf of the 2016 APCS batch.

ADC Yachuli Toko Babu ,DDSE Tabia Chobin , officials of education department, Goan Buras were also present on the occasion.
