ITANAGAR, Oct 7: All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) has urged the construction agency and the Highway department to start the construction of package B and C immediately and to complete the project on time in order to ease the traffic congestion of Naharlagun and Nirjuli area.
Due to lack of a bypass road in Naharlagun, it takes almost two or three hours to reach the destination.
The traffic jams has a tremendous impact on the life of the public and leads to stress and frustration. Mainly students, government officials and patients are facing untold misery due to traffic during emergency hours, the association said.
Terming the early completion of highway package B and C as the only solution to sort out the traffic problem, it appealed the general public to support the district administration and construction agency to complete the road on time.
Further, ANYA also requested the District Administration and Highway department to monitor the quality of work.
