ITANAGAR, Aug 3: The All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) on Monday demanded the state government to provide white paper on the state's financial status, progress of investigation made on Trans Arunachal Highway compensation, infamous Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board job scam and fund receipt and expenditure on COVID-19 management.
In this connection, the ANYA has announced 36 hour State Capital Region (SCR) bandh call on August 27-28 to press for their demands. The decision was taken in a meeting of central executive member (CEM) of ANYA held today.
In a release, the union regretted that they had not been given any information despite the submission of representation to CMO office seeking a white paper on the fund receipt and expenditure on COVID-19 management.
At the same time accusing the CM of playing divisive politics by promoting regionalism and communalism, ANYA sought his resignation on moral grounds to pave way for a genuine, dynamic, honest and visionary leader to take up the responsibilities of the state.
Justifying its demanding, ANYA said that being the head of the state, he should not be promoting particular community, region and religion as the Chief Minister chair is a constitutional post.
"The CM's participation in the meeting called by Mon Autonomous Region Demand Committee held on 30th July at Tawang reflects his immaturity, short-sightedness and incompetency to lead the state, " it said.
