ITANAGAR, Nov 19: The All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) today citing that a 15 days illegal eviction drive notice has been served to the public of few villages bordering Assam has demanded the Arunachal government to speak to its Assam counterpart.
Bello, Lora and Bukha villages under Kimin Circle have been served eviction notice from the office of the Range Forest Officer, Harmuty range, Assam and illegal eviction drive notice board was also found hanging on a tree in Gumto IV village near police check gate of Gumto under Papum Pare District, the association said. All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) vehemently condemns such kind of illegal and forceful attempt to capture Arunachal Pradesh land by Assam Forest officials. Moreover, boundary dispute matter is pending before Supreme Court and both states are to maintain Status Quo till pronouncement of judgement, it said appealing the Arunachal Pradesh government  to talk with the Assam government to diffuse the situation.
