WAKRO, Jun 25: A financial assistance of Rs 10000 under Beena Ghose Roy Scheme of Anu Shiksha Seva Trust to support educational expenses was handed over today to Sajimso Chaitom by SP Lohit Ankit Singh in presence of social activist Sohan Krong.  
The ASSET has thanked corporate leader Binod Saharia for financially supporting the cause. The SP also made a personal contribution towards the initiatives of the Trust. Meanwhile, DC Lohit Marge Sora handed over a cheque of Rs 20000 to Apyalu Mam for supporting her education under the BGR scheme in presence of SDO Lui Shiba and EE, DUDA Tezu Bapenlu Kri. Sora also gave away a cheque of Rs 10000 to financially support a widow under the Sanjeev Parakalp, an initiative of the BGR scheme to support the elderly.
