ITANAGAR, Jul 19: Arunachal Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACC&I) in close collaboration with health department has decided to conduct antigen tests for all traders across the ICR under the guidance of rapid response team head by Dr Gomi Basar.   

The test started in Naharlagun area on Sunday with ACC&I secretary general Toko Tatung as in-charge, to be followed by such tests in Nirjuli, Doimukh, Yupia Nyorch and Banderdewa with president Tarh Nachung as in-charge and conclude at Itanagar with vice president Azad Bagnag as in-charge. As the state government has decided to extend the ongoing lockdown of ICR till August 3 next, chief adviser Pradeep Kumar during an emergency meeting here on Sunday attended by executive members said that the consumers may face some problems.

However, president Nachung said that he has suggested that all 450 business establishments should remain open on July 20 and 21 and 28 for the people not to face any shortage of eatables. This suggestion has been given when DC Dulom sought opinion regarding opening of shops. ACCI release
