ITANAGAR,  Jan 13: Standing firm on its demands to declare examinations where malpractices have been established as 'null & void',  the All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU) on Friday stated that they are not against genuine candidates but urged them to cooperate in finding out the culprits.
The demand for null & void has been already placed before the government and now the government has to bring a conclusion, said President ANSU Nabam Dodum. Clarifying on opposition from few sections on the same, he said "ANSU is not against genuine aspirants,  we are with them; their job or hard work won’t go in vain but they should also come forward and give all possible support like legal consent for Polygraph test and narco test. Through such test it will clear all the confusion of genuine candidates and culprits. Even, the government should do test of Chairman and other members of APPSC."
Dodum also asserted that, ANSU has been working since June 2022 for the reformation of APPSC, by placing various demands like PRC certificate, relaxation in DySP (female) and others. There should not be ideological differences amongst the students’ community, as our aim and objective is the same which is to confer justice to the aspirants and reformation of APPSC, added the ANSU President.
He also urged the investigation agency to lawfully investigate the benami properties of the culprits and their relatives.
Earlier, the General Secretary said that the APPSC job scam is a state issue and the future of youths is at stake, so being a students' organization, it is  the duty of ANSU to fight for such issues.
" We are not against anyone or any organization, it was the aspirants who had submitted a joint memorandum to raise the issue of the APPSC –Job scam. Since day one ANSU is following the case and even met the  Chief Minister twice and also held a meeting with the Governor," added Rikam while asserting that any community based organization can spearhead the state issue for larger benefit.
