PASIGHAT, Nov 29: Opening another air connectivity vista to Pasighat Smart City; Pasighat is now connected to State Capital Itanagar via flight services operated by Alliance Air twice a week (Thursday and Sunday).
Local MLA Kaling Moyong has expressed  great delight at the rapid expansion in flight services connecting Pasighat with the state capital and other cities in the  country. “Flight services connecting Pasighat to Itanagar under the Dibrugarh -Pasighat- Hollongi Route by Alliance Air will ease and shorten travel time for the people and tourists & boost economic activities. I profusely thank the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Central Government led by the PM Narendra Modi for making our dream into a reality under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative”, Moyong said. The MLA was speaking after witnessing the formal virtual inaugural ceremony by Union Minister Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia for Dibrugarh -Hollongi-Pasighat and Dibrugarh -Hollongi-Ziro route today at DC’s Conference hall along with a host of dignitaries.
The local MLA along with DC Tayi Taggu and Chief Councillor PMC, Okiam Moyong Borang, also flagged off the Alliance Air Inaugural flight service for Pasighat-Itanagar  at the district level. Flight services between  Pasighat Airport and  Donyi-Polo Airport will  commence from 30th November next.
