Khonsa, Sep 12: Two Himalayan Black Bear cubs rescued a couple of years back from Dadam Circle in Tirap district which were  taken care of by the then MLA Late Tirong Aboh were handed over to the authorities of the Mini Zoo, Miao on Friday.

The two abandoned cubs were found and rescued by one Tangriat Nokbi of Moktowa village from the dense forests under Dadam Circle. Later, under the careful nurturing by late Aboh, the cubs grew-up. Now, Chakat Aboh, the current MLA and wife of  the late leader has handed them over to zoo authorities for their safety and upkeep.

Accordingly, the Divisional Forest Officer, Khonsa arranged their transportation and official handing over to the zoo authorities. DIPRO
