KIMIN, Sep 7: In a bid to streamline market regulations and licensing procedures, Trade and Development branch of Papum Pare district has begun a massive Market Survey-cum-Inspection of the entire Papum Pare District on September 6.
As per schedule under the supervision and leadership of the ADC Kimin, Bekir Nyorak, the survey was conducted on Monday at Kimin market.
All the shops were physically visited and their Trading Licences were verified.
The Traders and Shopkeepers were made aware of the importances of possession of Trading Licence and their timely renewal. Also, shops were checked to ascertain non selling of unauthorised items like alcohol, petrol etc. Both new and renewal application forms were distributed on the spot free of cost. Further, shopkeepers were strictly directed to renew their license immediately.
The ADC Kimin was accompanied by Trade Development Officer Yupia, Tai Arun, Inspector Trade and Commerce Yupia Tabio Amko, Supply Inspector Kimin Nabam Yall among others.
The next Market Survey-cum-Inspection will be carried out at Balijan Market Area from September 9-10 next. DIPRO
