ROING, Mar 6: Concerned over the low immunization coverage under Mission Indradhanush Phase-IV-1st round presented by health workers of some blocks under Roing District, Deputy Commissioner, Deepak Shinde has passed strict orders to the medical team for proper maintenance in recording data under both MI & RI drive and rectification of errors made in the previous rounds.
DC ,who was chairing a review meeting of 3rd District Task Force on immunization to check the progress of Mission Indradhanush Phase-IV-1st round has exhorted the medical team to submit due list and micro plan well in advance and directed them to submit all relevant reports by march 31 next.
Addressing parents who are reluctant to immunize their children for religious issues or other reasons, he directed DMO to form a team including their religious leaders to convince them for immunization. He also emphasized on tracking of incomplete immunized children in every block and in order to ensure full and complete immunization.
Dr. R Mena, District RCH officer, Roing highlighted the progress of the mission and informed that in the MI-Phase IV- 1st round out of 126 targeted children, 122 children have been vaccinated so far.
