PASIGHAT, May 21: Additional Director General Border Roads (East), Harendra Kumar, AVSM, VSM, on Sunday last visited the Headquarters of Project Brahmank here at Pasighat, East Siang District to review the various roads and bridges ongoing works which are being undertaken by Project Brahmank.
While visiting the various project sites, the visiting ADG BRO (East) also instructed the officers of BRO to achieve the targets of road and bridges construction within the stipulated deadlines so that the connectivity to the remotest areas can be provided at the earliest.
Kumar also issued guidance to the BRO personnel to continue the service to the nation and people of Arunachal Pradesh while laying special emphasis on quality of works in construction of roads and the safety measures being employed to provide adequate indications to the drivers using these roads.
Kumar also praised the efforts of the Project Brahmank in ensuring road clearance during the ongoing monsoon season and instructed the field workers and officials to be prepared with adequate resources for keeping the roads open even during heavy rainfall.
At present the 761 BRTF with its headquarters at Yingkiong in Upper Siang district under Project Brahmank is working on total 09 Projects and 44 BRTF is working on 08 Projects of great significance to the people of Arunachal Pradesh. The ADG carried out visits to the forward areas and provided guidance to the BRO personnel to execute their task efficiently.
