Itanagar, Sep 15: A 14-day Acting Workshop for the actors/artists of Arunachal Pradesh commenced here at the state capital today preceded by an orientation programme on September 14.
Actor, National School of Drama (NSD) New Delhi and Moonlight Acting Studio alumni Paalin Kabak along with actor, NSD alumni, Assistant Professor (Performing Arts) Shoolini University Ankur Baskar and actor NSD and MPSD alumni Puneet Kumar Mishra organised the orientation programme, all of whom will also conduct the workshop. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman, Arunachal Artists' Forum Takam Dado Tallom while stating that the state’s artists are yet to receive proper support and guidance from GoAP, highlighted the need for an artists’ institution like NSD to train the youths interested in acting. Eminent director and producer Nima Sange while appreciating the organizers exhorted them to conduct such workshops from time to time for nurturing the upcoming talents of the state. 
Assistant Professor of Hindi and actor Tai Tugung shared the problems faced by the state’s actors/artists especially in Hindi language. State NPP President Gicho Kabak and Producer/Director Hano Bobby also participated in the discussion.
