NAHARLAGUN, Mar 22: A two-week long acting workshop 'Acting for Screen' organised by the Film & Television Institute, Itanagar, in collaboration with the Information & Public Relation Department concluded at the FTI premises today.
The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Ashoke Viswanathan, Dean, SRFTI on 10th March and the felicitation of certificates session was supervised by Deputy Director DIPR, Gijum Tali today.
The theatre workshop was conducted by the faculty comprising Goge Bam, NSD, Paalin Kabak, NSD, Rilli Ngomle, MA Theatre Direction, Kendy Zirdo, MA Theatre Direction and Duyu Tabyo, film director & script writer.
The faculty from SRFTI comprising Prof. Sounak Kar, Direction, Prof. Abdul Rajjak, Sound and Biraja Prasanna Kar, Camera conducted the acting for screen shooting part of the workshop.
This year 20 students enrolled for the acting workshop that was especially reserved for the students of Arunachal Pradesh. The focus of the workshop was restricted within basic & advance technics of theatre with the rigorous training &exercise. The main attention was towards film acting & techniques in front of the camera and finally, producing three short films as part of the exercise.
