ITANAGAR, Jun 27: Arunachal Civil Society (ACS) has urged the Health Department and state government to immediately  revive the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Universal Health Insurance scheme (APCMUHIS) which was launched  under the guidance  of  former Chief Minister Nabam  Tuki.

Though, state government has already  given its clarification on the issue , but  as per reports  due to  internal  differences   and lackadaisical attitude amongst the responsible  authorities  the most  advantageous  schemes for the poor people has been  discontinued .

ACS alleged that due to frequently changing of chairman of the scheme and internal differences the scheme has been withdrawn.

ACS further added, that many people from remote areas are still unaware of the discontinuation and become helpless in many situations. Two years before it was running successfully and many people benefitted from it, it said urging the government to immediately sort out all problems as soon as possible for the greater interest of the  common people .
