BOMDILA, Jun 19: In a tragic accident caused due to incessant rain, an employee of an engineering firm died on the spot on Friday near the quarry site of his organization in Baisakhi under Dirang Circle of West Kameng district when the Bolero car he was travelling with 3 other passengers faced an avalanche of shooting stones.
The deceased person has been identified as S. Ariyawalagun who was the Deputy Manager (Civil) of Patel Engineering. One of the co-passengers, Electrical Engineer Paltan Kumar was seriously injured and currently undergoing treatment in Guwahati after evacuation. According to ADC, Dirang and the firm’s HR, rest of the two passengers, driver Ranjit Basumatary and Project Engineer (Mechanical) Pinaki Rai escaped unhurt. DIPRO
