ITANAGAR, Jul 9:   Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Arunachal Unit observed the 68th National Students Day at its office here in the state capital today.

Speaking on the occasion, former State President and Present NEC member Dr.Joram Aniya Tana briefed the gathering about the history and purpose of formation of ABVP. She also elaborated on Dr.BR Ambedkar’s contribution to social equality while also dwelling on the role of youths and students in nation reconstruction.

Earlier, ABVP flag was hoisted by the State President Agin Taboh and State Secretary Jakap Lukham amidst ABVP members and other well-wishers. Every year ABVP observes 9th July as National Students Day and during the day literary events are organized in various schools across the state.
