PASIGHAT, Oct 5: The Women Wing Adi Bane Kebang, the apex women's organisation of the Adis while mourning late Desu Pertin Jerang and her two unborn twins has condemned the incident in the strongest term.
The Women Wing after going through all the versions of the deceased family and the clarification given through the various press conference is of the opinion that the unfortunate deaths could have been avoided had the concern doctor paid timely medical attention.
It demanded the Governor and the Chief Minister of the state to order an independent and impartial inquiry.
It also appealed the state government for a separate medical arrangement for treating pregnant women during the pandemic.
