ITANAGAR, Nov 26: The Adi Bane Kebang’s Academic Board on Thursday felicitated selected officers of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) 2017 and 2020 which was conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, here at DK Convention hall Itanagar.
All together 23 candidates were felicitated, where they pledged to work for the Adi community in particular and state as a whole, which was administered by Adi Bane Kebang (ABK) president Getom Borang.
Attending the occasion as chief guest health minister Alo Libang, appealed to the newly selected officers to work on a mission to take Arunachal Pradesh to a greater height of development.
Officers should communicate with society and office staff without hesitation irrespective of their post and rank, he added.
Special guest Ninong Ering encouraged the awardees to be sincere in executing their duties as per the service rule.
Stating officers have multiple roles in the development towards society and the State, he said, "You have to work for justice, equity and fairness by avoiding favourism." Urging young officers to uphold the goal and objectives of ABK, ABK president Borang said, as a Adi community they need proactive officers who will contribute towards development of the community.
Sharing his administrative experiences, former ABK president Bilati Pertin said that trial and tribulations is a part of government officers, however officers have to choose the right path.
