Roing, Feb 2: An Active Case Finding(ACF) campaign ‘Aaswahsan’ to stop the spread of COVID and TB under anamaya programme of ‘100 days-100 districts’ was launched in Lower Dibang Valley district by the Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson(DHS) Soumya Saurabh on January 31 in presence of DMO Dr. T. Taki, District Tuberculosis Officer Dr. S. J. Mitapo and other health officials. 
The campaign aims to to break the chain of Covid infection through awareness on COVID Appropriate Behaviour(CAB) and address vaccine hesitancy and additionally to increase awareness about Tuberculosis(TB), its symptoms, treatment, prevention and decrease stigma. 
Piramal Swasthya is undertaking ACF in the LDV district, coordinated by the NTEP, LDV. The exercise will boost and support in increasing TB notification and improve the health of the community.
