ITANAGAR, Jul 8: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU) has conveyed its congratulation to Kiren Rijiju, the Arunachal West Lok Sabha MP on being appointed as the new Minister for Law and Justice of the country.
With the elevation to the cabinet rank, Rijiju has become the first person from Arunachal Pradesh to reach such a position and has created  history for himself and the state, AAPSU said, while hailing the decision of the Central government under the leadership Narendra Modi to induct five ministers from the Northeast. 
The decision will take the region to the new heights of development, the union remarked.
