ITANAGAR, Jun 26: Taking note of the frequent accidents and rising crime graph in the state, The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) has appealed citizens and the authority concerned to take extra care toprevent such incidents.

‘Crimes are being reported regularly and it is the need of the hour to strengthen law and order and security of the citizens must be assured,’ said AAPSU President Hawa Bagang in a press release.

Urging students to take precaution while driving and also to refrain from late night hangouts around the capital, the Union also sought the attention of parents to discourage underage driving observing that young students have fallen victims to crimes as well as accidents in recent months. The Union also appealed Beer Bars not to entertain minors.


The Union has sought the intervention of the State Government to take note of the incidents and initiate appropriate policy to prevent such
crimes and unfortunate incidents which hampers peace and tranquillity.
