AALO, Apr 3: In a major crackdown against drug peddlers, the Aalo Police on 1st April, arrested three persons with suspected Heroin.
Moina Das alias Imo Basar (29), Nyape Bagra (23) and Raju Dorjee (22) were arrested from the Bogdo area of the West Siang headquarters with 8.19 gm of suspected Heroin.
Acting on a tip-off regarding presence of some drug peddlers and users in a rented house, a Police team led by Inspr. Yomken Riram, OC PS Addl SP Aalo comprising ASI M. Doji, Ct W. Phuksa & CT O.Tali, under supervision of addl SP West Siang rushed to the spot and found the trio.
Upon interrogation, one of the peddlers revealed that the contraband substances were hidden inside the handle bar and head lamp of the motorcycle.
