ITANAGAR, Sep 11: The Arunachal Pradesh Abo-Tani Community Confederation, West Siang District unit submitted a letter to the Deputy Commissioner, West Siang demanding immediate suspension of government servants and to initiate legal action against all those who took part in the infamous DJ Night party held on August 29 last.
In a release, the confederation claimed that the DC assured to initiate stern action against all those involved in the incident under appropriate provision of law.
Meanwhile, the confederation strongly condemned the press statement of Galo People's Federation  (GPF) demanding for immediate suspension of the DC and SP while holding the duo responsible for the outbreak of COVID-19 in the district.
Terming the GPF's statement as 'immature made without knowing the ground reality', the confederation claimed that COVID -19 situation has been well contained under the strong eagle-eye surveillance of the DA with support of CBOs, NGOs and Other COVID -19 warriors.
The confederation stated that the District Administration led by DC, Town Magistrate and SP Aalo have left no stone unturned to contain the virus since coronavirus cases were first detected, therefore, there is no reason to blame the DA for the recent spurt in covid positive cases in the district.
