ITANAGAR, Jun 11: All Arunachal Contractor's Welfare Association (AACWA)  in a representation to the Chief Minister has urged to initiate transfer- posting of all head of departments to discourage corrupt practice by officers due to overstay at a single place of posting.
In its statement, AACWA stated that  many government employees are staying at a single place of posting or offices permanently thus depriving other officers who do not get equal opportunity to serve the state. 
Whereas, office order No. PERS-126/2004/4516 Dated ltanagar, the 19th  December 2008 states  that  tenure of the posting of all government posts shall be 2(two) years instead of 3(three) years but we had noticed that many officers including Chief Engineers, Executive Engineers, Food and Civil Supply and many more who are staying at a single posting place permanently, the association said.  Every elected political leader wants transfer and posting of their kith and kin and choice of officers  in particular places which is also the main cause of corruption, asserted AACWA.
